A few things
*Those of you who asked for the black bean salsa and hot wing recipes, my hubby posted them both in the comments on the Friendship post.
*If any readers out there are moms to twins…how do you do it? I just spent 45 minutes watching Angel Girl in addition to a friends 6 week old. I was holding one at all times and had one crying baby at all times. I had to switch off because whichever one I put down would start wailing!
* Saturday I spent 6 hours at a genealogy workshop. I taught one course in beginning genealogy on the internet….without use of the internet! Yes, technical difficulties abounded, but somehow the people in my class actually learned without seeing it in action. Then I gave my “expert” advice in 3 brick wall sessions. All this with Angel Girl in my arms, as, wherever her food supply goes, she goes too. But all in all it went very smooth.
We’re a bit busy today but I’ll be back with more solid blog content later!

Good job getting through your workshop about the Internet w/o the Internet. Geez, no stress there, I’m sure!
I can’t believe you managed to teach an internet class with the internet down AND while wrangling a little one! I think you would be more adept at the ‘twins thing’ than you give yourself credit for : )
Oh, and I LOVED your Blogroll Disclaimer! I posted a version of my own on my blog - super idea!
I watched a baby all last summer - he was just a month older than Becca. I remember sitting on the floor nursing her with one arm while I kept a bottle propped in his mouth while he was in his carseat with the other. It wasn’t easy - I don’t know how moms of twins do it either!
I’m glad your workshop went well - even without the internet! :)
Can I steal your blogroll disclaimer too? Pretty please? ;)
Go ahead Deb. :)
You are a wonder!! I hear you about the twin thing. I have a friend with twins and I commend anyone who can come out of twin toddlerdom alive and sane!
I LOVE that you took your baby with you - mothering by example, making meeting your baby’s needs look absolutely normal. Go you!
